Producing shiny theatre is expensive. Sometimes, you gotta to take up a collection.

A Collection of Shiny Objects is a new production collective founded and led by Creative Producer Elizabeth R. English, Director Jesse Geiger, and Composer Nathan Leigh, with a rotating group of collaborators and associate artists. We seek to create art that explores our curiosities around identity, including issues of gender, sexuality, class, race, and the position of the individual in a world that seems to be in a light-speed state of flux. Our work is multidisciplinary, incorporating theater, music, dance, puppets, multimedia, and, most prominently, the deconstruction of the artifacts of popular culture. We believe that the best way to develop new performance is through the trial-and-error of the workshop process, with in-progress presentations where the work of our artists can cross-pollinate.
